I am a girl in my early thirties, well educated, travelled, and an all around good catch (so I’m told). Still single – and while I am very happy with that, my Jewish father has started pressuring me – get married, have children, we need more Jews in this world, I want grandchildren, and so on. So, after months of this, I signed up and thought I’d give it a try. Since I’ve heard so many crazy online dating stories, I thought I’d chronicle my experiences just for the fun of it!
First of all, what is Jdate? An online dating service for Jews looking for Jews. In case you haven’t heard of it, it’s extremely popular, especially in New York, and (so they claim) many happily married couples owe their happiness to this site. Check it out at www.jdate.com .
Now, my question is, what kind of person joins Jdate? Well, I’m not sure entirely – that’s what I’m trying to figure! Or, trying to figure out what kind of guys are out there on Jdate! Guess we’ll find out…
